RBCuZn-C Low Fuming Flux Coated Bronze is an exceptionally versatile, general-purpose copper-base brazing alloy, ideal for gas brazing a wide range of metals including steel, copper alloys, cast iron, nickel alloys, and stainless steel. This widely used rod is favored for its low fuming characteristics and excellent mechanical properties, offering a high tensile strength combined with good ductility. With a low melting point, it is easily machinable and perfect for sheet metal work, and thanks to its specialized coating, a separate bronze brazing flux is not required, though preheating may be recommended for certain applications to achieve the best results.
