SanRex

SanRex inverter welders and plasma cutters - SanStick 140S and 160S stick welders, SanARG 180AP AC/DC TIG, SanMIG 200MF and 250MF multi-process machines and the SanCut638 plasma cutter.

Choose by process first

  • SanStick 140S and 160S - portable stick welders for repair, farm and site work. Stick welding tolerates wind and dirty steel better than any wire process.
  • SanARG 180AP AC/DC - TIG for steel, stainless and aluminum. AC is required for aluminum because it breaks up the oxide layer; a DC-only TIG cannot weld aluminum properly.
  • SanMIG 200MF and 250MF - multi-process machines covering MIG, flux-cored and stick, for shops that need one machine to do several jobs.
  • SanCut638 - plasma cutting for steel, stainless and aluminum.

Check input power and duty cycle

Confirm the machine's input voltage matches the outlet you have - 120V or 240V - and that the circuit is rated for it. Duty cycle tells you how many minutes out of ten a machine can weld at a given amperage. For long production runs, compare duty cycle at the amperage you will actually use, not the maximum output.
