The AF890 Fiber Discs feature a ceramic grain that is geometrically shaped for superior performance, particularly in high-power angle grinders. These discs are fully resin-bonded to a very sturdy, vulcanized fibre backing material, colored in petrol. The design ensures maximum stock removal rates and a high initial aggressiveness, making them ideal for processing stainless steels and superalloys. The discs include an additional grinding-active layer which provides a cool cut without discolouration of the workpiece. They offer more than twice the stock removal capacity compared to conventional ceramic grain abrasives, resulting in significant increases in productivity and reductions in operating costs.
