Harris Stay-Silv® 2 is an economical, low-silver PhosCopper brazing alloy containing 2% silver, designed primarily to slightly broaden the melting range compared to pure Phos Copper 0. While its mechanical properties are generally not considered critical for every application, it remains a useful choice for specific tasks, particularly in joining copper to copper or copper to brass. This alloy leverages the self-fluxing properties of phosphorus when brazing copper, offering a cost-effective solution for appropriate plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration applications.
