Replacement and spare MIG guns, sized by amperage rating, cable length and machine connection.

Rating is a duty cycle, not a ceiling

A gun rated at 250A is rated at a stated duty cycle with a stated shielding gas - commonly a lower duty cycle on CO2 than on mixed gas, because CO2 runs hotter. Specifying a gun at exactly your working amperage leaves no margin, and the gun runs hot in the operator's hand. Size up a step if you run long beads or high duty cycle production.

Connection type decides compatibility

Guns terminate in Euro, Tweco, Lincoln or machine-specific connections. Getting this wrong is the most common ordering error on guns. If you are not certain what your feeder takes, photograph the connection at the feeder end and send it to us rather than guessing from the machine model.

Cable length costs you

Longer cables give reach and cost feedability, especially on soft wire. A 15-foot gun feeds aluminium noticeably better than a 25-foot gun. Buy the reach you need, not the reach you might.

Air-cooled or water-cooled

Air-cooled guns are simpler and self-contained. Water-cooled guns are slimmer for their current rating and far more comfortable at high duty cycle, at the cost of running a cooler.
