True Color Triple-LCD Viewing System
The Maple Eagle uses three independently operating LCD screens synchronized as a single viewing system. This design provides a wide field of vision while maintaining consistent auto-darkening performance across the lens assembly.
The True Color Ultra HD viewing system is designed to provide a more natural representation of the welding environment compared with traditional green-tinted auto-darkening lenses. This can make it easier to distinguish the weld pool, joint, electrode, filler material, and surrounding workpiece during welding and inspection.
Fast Auto-Darkening Performance
When an arc is detected, the Maple Eagle auto-darkening filter switches to the selected dark shade in as little as 1/30,000 second. Four arc sensors help detect the welding arc, while adjustable sensitivity and delay controls allow the helmet to be tuned to the application and surrounding lighting conditions.
The adjustable delay range of 0.1–1.0 seconds gives the operator control over how quickly the lens returns to its light state after welding stops. The helmet also includes dedicated Weld/Grind modes for added versatility.
Large Viewing Area & Peripheral Visibility
A 3.98" × 3.70" primary viewing area gives the operator a broad view of the weld zone without constantly repositioning the helmet. Integrated side windows provide additional peripheral visibility, helping the operator maintain greater awareness of the surrounding work area.
