Overview

The Markal® B-L® Paintstik® Solid Paint Marker (Blue) is a heavy-duty layout marker engineered for industrial metal fabrication and structural steel applications. Formulated with real paint in a solid stick form, it creates durable, weather- and UV-resistant marks that clearly penetrate and bleed through oil- or solvent-based primer coats. This specialized bleed-through capability ensures that vital layout lines, part numbers, and welding instructions remain fully visible after painting without requiring re-marking. Featuring an 11/16" round tip and a broad operating temperature range of -50°F to 150°F (-46°C to 66°C), it marks smoothly on smooth, rough, rusty, or cold steel surfaces for dependable performance in tough shop or field environments.
