This 95/5 Solder (95% Tin, 5% Antimony), provided as a 1/8" x 1lb Spool, offers a specialized, lead-free alternative for various soldering needs. Unlike some tin/lead solders that are restricted, this alloy is particularly useful in applications where moderately elevated temperatures are a factor and where lead contamination must be avoided. It boasts high electrical conductivity and is suitable for joining materials such as copper, most copper alloys, lead, nickel alloys, and steel. Depending on the application, use Acid Core for stainless steel and Rosin Core for electrical work, with heat provided by soldering guns, irons, or torch applications.
