MapleWeld E40 Dirty Cast Iron Stick Welding Electrodes
MapleWeld E40 ensures flawless cast iron welding with a nickel-cored electrode and specialized coating, delivering pore-free welding on grey and malleable cast iron — even on surfaces contaminated with oil. The pulsating welding technology alternates between a heat-generation phase and a droplet-projection phase, burning out oil and grease for effective slag removal while giving superior control over porosity. Controlled heat input allows a slower cooling rate on the first pass for a soft, machinable deposit without undercutting, and the all-positional design works with both A.C. and D.C. welding.
