MapleWeld HF24 is a high chromium-iron alloyed electrode designed for earthmoving equipment welding repair, built for applications subject to severe abrasion by sand, cement, mud, and similar materials. It provides a good bond on steel, cast steel, and manganese steel, with a smooth deposit and very low friction coefficient allowing long beads. Applications include repair of dredger teeth, grab jaws, stirring tools, mixers, wear plates, dredge pump parts, centrifugal pumps, augers, and tillage tools.
