The MapleWeld ClariView 80 is a large-view auto-darkening welding helmet with a 100 × 60 mm (3.94 × 2.36 in) window, 1/1/1/2 optical class and two variable shade ranges: DIN 5–9 for plasma cutting and DIN 9–13 for MIG, TIG and Stick welding. The filter switches from a DIN 4 light state to dark in 0.2 ms and blocks UV/IR radiation up to DIN 16 at all times.

With about 1.9 times the viewing area of the AeroView 60, you see the whole joint, your torch angle and the puddle without bobbing your head. A continuously adjustable 0.1–0.8 s delay, solar power backed by a replaceable CR2450 battery and a heavy-duty polypropylene shell make it a strong all-process helmet for fabrication shops, trades and serious DIY welders across Canada.

Yes, for general TIG work: settings of DIN 9 to 12 cover the suggested shades from under 50 A up to 150 A. No minimum TIG amperage is published for this model; for very low-amp work, the ProDuty 94 is rated from 5 A.

What is the difference between the ClariView 80 and the ArcDuty 90?

Their filters share the same core specifications: 100 × 60 mm view, DIN 4 light state, DIN 5–9 and 9–13 dark ranges, 0.2 ms switching, 1/1/1/2 optical class and a CR2450 backup battery.
